Exporting a .CSV of your data from EdgeTier allows you to use that data in reporting and presentations, to share EdgeTier with the world. We’ve now shipped some improvements to this functionality, to allow you to export more data, and clearer data.

1. Larger Export Limit

You can now export up to 65,000 individual interactions (previously 10,000), each with their full set of tags and metadata. You also have the option to include the full interaction transcripts in your exported file without slowing things down.

Exporting over 10,000 rows? Interaction data is complex, so exports take a few minutes to complete. This could interrupt your flow in EdgeTier. Now, the exports are no longer processed in the interface, so you don't have to wait around for them. When your export is ready, we'll email you a link to access it. The link is valid for 5 days and can be forwarded or shared with colleagues without an EdgeTier account.

Exporting over 65,000 rows? This is currently not supported. Your download will contain the first 65,000 rows of interactions.

Reminder: How to Export Interactions

  1. Complete a search or apply filters on the Explore screen
  2. In the Interactions table below, hit the Download button.
  3. Enter a file name and choose which data to include
  4. You’ll get a link when your file is ready to view.

2. Better Export Format

We recently added a table view to the Explore custom chart, product update here. In this release, you could export a raw version of the table data. We’ve now improved this export, and it’ll replicate the table view in EdgeTier exactly.

Sharing your findings from EdgeTier in a presentation, or want to start on more technical analysis? This update will help you do just that.

Soon, we’ll also be adding export functionality to the Reviews table, to help you review even more EdgeTier findings.
